When I retired back in July 2014 I wanted to find some sort of exercise, now that I
had all this “free” time on my hands, so joined a keep fit class instructed by Adele.
Shortly after joining, Adele said she was branching into “Nordic Walking”. I love walking so gave it a go. Walking with poles is very different to ordinary walking
– much better in fact. I now walk 3 times a week through terrains I never knew
existed in High Wycombe!
In 2015 I became a Walk Leader and nearly two years on, I am fitter, lost weight and changed shape – all for the better through Nordic Walking There are many different levels of walking to suit everyone. Its great to be out in the open, meet lovely people and most importantly, you enjoy yourself!
